Who We Are

Hi there! Welcome to Lomita Tutoring Corp. My name is Balbina, and I'm the proud owner of Lomita Tutoring Corp.

As a St. Albert native and University of Alberta alumna, I've always understood the value of extra academic support. Like many students, I sought tutors to help strengthen my understanding of various subjects. Their impact on me was profound, inspiring me to provide the same support to students facing similar challenges.

I wasn't always the top student in high school. In fact, I often had to study long hours just to grasp basic concepts. I understand how frustrating it can be to put in countless hours of study and still struggle to understand the material. I've been there too. But with the right support, I was able to turn things around, and so can you!

I believe every student has the ability to learn and achieve their goals. All you need is the right support, and that's where I come in. Fast forward to today, I have a degree in engineering, a master's degree, and I am currently working as a Civil Engineer In Training at a local consulting company.

I look forward to meeting you, whether virtually or in person, and helping you succeed.

Private Tutoring

We offer one-on-one private tutoring, available both remotely and in person. Our focus is on solving homework questions and in-class problems, ensuring you understand the concepts thoroughly.

In-person sessions are available at the St. Albert Public Library in City Hall.
