Two Hats: Chocolate Maker and Chocolatier!
What a minute! Isn’t the term ‘chocolatier’ just a fancy expression for ‘chocolate maker’? Many think so, but in fact these are 2 distinctly different occupations.

What is a chocolatier?
A chocolatier is a skilled craftsperson who manufactures unique confections, bars and bonbons using the carefully crafted chocolate supplied by the chocolate makers who labour through a lengthy process working with the source of chocolate, the cacao bean.

As both a chocolate maker and chocolatier, my clients truly get an experience as I literally take the beans and take them on a journey right through to artisan chocolates that my customers rave about! It’s truly rewarding for me to oversee this entire process and bring quality chocolate to young and old alike!
