Fat-burning workouts are exercise regimens designed to get the body into the fat-burning zone. This refers to a target heart rate, one that borrows from your body’s fat stores in order to maintain. Typically the fat-burning zone falls between 50% to 72% of a person’s VO2 max (how much your body can absorb and use oxygen while exercising).
