What is a chemical peel?

A procedure during which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers is called a chemical peel. Once this layer is removed the new layer grows back smoother.
There are varying intensities of chemical peels, some lighter than others. Regardless, it may take several treatments to achieve the desired results.

What conditions do chemical peels treat?
