Cody is the Teaching Professional and Junior Golf Coordinator at Sturgeon Valley Golf and Country Club and is also a part owner of Ted Dancin's Indoor Golf where he provides coaching during the offseason.

Born and raised in St Albert, Cody attended MacEwan University where he played on the Griffins golf team for three seasons. After graduating from the Professional Golf Management program, Cody joined the PGA of Canada in 2013 and achieved his Class A status in 2017.
