At Urban Massage, our Registered Massage Therapists are trained in several massage techniques each with its benefits for treating specific conditions. In the case of bursitis, we often find that myofascial release therapy does wonders as it releases the tension and tightness in the fascia which is the protective layer surrounding your bones, muscles, and joints. We will also provide you with some self-care options to assist in the recovery process in between treatments.

How Can Massage Therapy Treat Bursitis?
Much like any inflammation of areas related to tendons, muscles, and joints, resting these areas by avoiding the repetitive morions that contributed to the painful condition is recommended. This is not always practical however as one’s employment or regular activities may include such movements. This is where massage therapy comes into play.At Urban Massage, our Registered Massage Therapists are trained in several massage techniques each with its benefits for treating specific conditions.
