About Us

Welcome to Our Den: Wild Rose Elementary School

At Wild Rose Elementary School, we take pride in being a close-knit, community-oriented school dedicated to families primarily in the Grandin and Heritage Lakes areas. With a welcoming environment and a focus on personalized education, we serve approximately 230 students from Kindergarten to Grade 4.

A School Where Every Student Thrives

We believe in supporting every student to reach their full potential. In addition to our regular programs, we are proud to host a district site for special education: the Primary Learning Strategies Class for Grades 2-4, designed to offer specialized support. Our facilities also include before-and-after school care and afternoon daycare, operated by SIGIS, along with a district preschool program—all conveniently located on-site.

Our Motto: Wellness, Respect, Success

Built in 1978 and named after Alberta’s provincial emblem, Wild Rose Elementary upholds its legacy through our guiding principles of **Wellness, Respect, and Success**. Our staff is dedicated to fostering a holistic learning environment where every student in our "wolf pack" develops socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.

Together as a Pack

At Wild Rose, we see our school community as a family—a "wolf pack" where everyone contributes to the growth and success of our "pups." We believe that education is a collective effort, and we encourage active involvement from parents, families, and the community.

Join us in nurturing a love for learning and a strong sense of belonging. At Wild Rose Elementary, we are committed to guiding your child on the path to success.
