Welcome to the St. Albert Food Bank!
Celebrating 25 years of serving our community, we've made a significant move to a new and expanded location, now boasting an impressive 9100 square feet—more than four times the size of our previous space. This strategic shift has empowered us to amplify our impact by increasing capacity and diversifying our range of programs and services.
In 2009, this expansion paved the way for the St. Albert Community Village (SACV). At SACV, our commitment goes beyond a simple handout; we believe in offering a hand up to vulnerable clients. By addressing the root causes that lead individuals to seek assistance, we encourage self-reliance and empower them to discover solutions, regain independence, and secure a brighter future for their families.
Our success story is a collaborative effort with over 20 community agencies and organizations that have been steadfast supporters throughout our evolution. Their unwavering support has been instrumental in shaping our journey, and for that, we are profoundly grateful.
The integration of St. Albert Food Bank and Community Village has resulted in a client-focused and client-based approach to our programs and services. We are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
As a non-profit organization, the St. Albert Food Bank relies heavily on the generosity of our community. We welcome and appreciate both monetary and food donations. Cash donations come with the added benefit of a receipt provided at the end of each month, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Join us in making a positive impact on our community. Your support fuels our mission to create lasting change and brighter futures.
