OUR STORY: A Family Legacy of Ukrainian Heritage
Taste of Ukraine is more than a restaurant; it's a family decision rooted in our rich Ukrainian heritage. Growing up surrounded by the warmth of Ukrainian traditions, we embarked on this culinary journey in 2004, driven by a passion for sharing authentic Ukrainian flavors, hospitality, and the love we have for our culture.

OUR JOURNEY: From Edmonton to St. Albert
Our doors officially opened in Edmonton on October 15, 2004. After seven thriving years on Jasper Ave., fate led us to a new home in St. Albert on November 10, 2011. Edmonton's loss became St. Albert's gain, and we've been proudly serving our community ever since. As we celebrate our 19th year in business, we look forward to our 20th year of service in St. Albert.

George (Yuriy), Orysia (Odarka), son Andriy, daughter Natalka, and son-in-law Aaron Sorochan form the heart of Taste of Ukraine. Every decor item and menu choice reflects the careful planning, discussion, and approval of our family. From the daily operations to special feature menus, our family members play key roles, ensuring a seamless and authentic experience.

THE NEXT GENERATION: Passing on the Legacy
As we mark our 19th Anniversary, we're eager to usher in the next era. George and Orysia, retired from teaching for 17 years, are ready to pass the baton to the younger generation. Andriy, Natalka, and Aaron bring fresh perspectives to the table, ensuring that Taste of Ukraine continues to evolve and thrive. As we embrace new family members with the arrival of grandchildren, our family legacy extends, making Taste of Ukraine a true labor of love.
