It's difficult to predict the economic future for a certainty in recent decades, however one thing is for sure...

...as consumers we know how much of every dollar spent stays in the local economy.

Allow this knowledge to strongly influence where you spend your money. It's a mindset.

1) Seek local independent businesses first, spend there whenever possible.
2) Use local Big Box as a second option if you cannot find what you're looking for in step 1.
3) As a last resort, if you still can't find what you want or need, then feel free to choose the online shopping giant.
