Sleep deprivation is one of the most common complaints I hear about. It can noticeably affect people's ability to think clearly, react quickly, form memories, and it can contribute to anxiety, and depression. Research shows that sleep deprivation increases the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, can weaken immune system and disrupt endocrine system. Getting to the root cause of why you are struggling with sleep can be a challenge. But here are some tips for you to follow: Try and eat a balanced diet and take supplements such as vitamins. Incorporating essential oils that have relaxing and calming properties can also be super helpful. Lavender, Bergamot, Vetiver, Serenity, Balance, Frankincense, Siberian Fir, Peace are all oils that have calming properties and have been super helpful for me.
