Did you know that your Brain has 100 Billion Cells with each one connected to other cells by up to 10,000 individual connections?
DId you know that there are more connections in your brain than there are stars in the Universe?
Or did you know that your brain has the storage capacity of 3 milliion hours of TV shows
Wow…so phenomenal….We are so blessed at the intricate detail of our brain. Doesn't it amaze you enough to want to protect it the best way you can?
Your Brain is only 2% of your body's weight (about 3 lbs) and it uses about 20-30% of the calories you consume and 20% of your body's blood flow. So any shortage of oxygen to our brains can really damage its integrity and function.
You really do have an incredible piece of real estate. So do all that you can to protect it. When you do, it will serve you well.

You are up late at night, either watching TV or working on that project that you have been putting off…Then you try and go to sleep and you can't. You are laying there wide awake, and unable to fall asleep. Sound Familiar?
You want to get to sleep faster? Stay asleep longer?
Then limit Screen Time: Avoid electronic devices like smartphones and computers at least 30 minutes before bedtime. The blue light emitted from screens can interfere with melatonin production, a hormone that regulates sleep.
Your Brain will thank you….You need that extra time to unwind from your day and prepare your brain and mind to slow down and rest….
Try it…Im sure you will have a much better sleep…and feel more refreshed in the morning.
Did you know that in order the average water intake for healthy individuals is 15.5 cups for men and about 11.5 cups for women. The general rule is an ounce of water for every 2 lbs of body weight.
If you are not used to drinking so much water, don't start at this amount. You NEED to build up to that amount and spread it out over the whole day. However stop drinking fluids about 2-3 hours prior to going to bed so that you dont find yourself waking up in the middle of the night having to go to the bathroom.
