Are you frequently feeling exhausted and cant seem to effectively get through your day? Are you looking for ways to book your energy and feel more productive?
The reason may vary from simple like lack of sleep or dealing with stress to more complex such as a chronic condition.
It is important to pay attention to the following areas:
1. Your Diet - If we dont consume the correct amount of calories, we wont be providing our bodies with the proper amount of fuel for it to function properly. It is also important to feed our bodies with right quality of foods as well.
Foods such as wholegrains, nuts, and some fruits — particularly grapes, apples, oranges, peaches, pears, and grapefruit — and vegetables and legumes with a high fiber content, including peas, beans, and leafy greens
2. Light Exercise- Are you feeling sluggish in teh middle of the day? Get active. It will increase your body's oxygen-carrying capacity", boosts circulation, increases your stress hormones which in turn will boost your energy and alertness.
3. Sleep. We often underestimate the impact that shortened sleep or disrupted sleep will have not only on your energy levels but also on your health. As adults, try to aim for 7-9 hours in order to feel fully refreshed. Aim for a healthy routine of having same time for going to bed and getting up in the morning.
